HDPE HFI 5110 is a high-density polyethylene with a high molecular weight and a wide molecular weight distribution, incorporating 1-hexene as a co-monomer. It is specifically engineered for the production of thin films that offer excellent strength and rigidity.
This grade is ideal for creating durable grocery and shopping bags, as well as high-quality thin films suitable for single or multi-wall packaging applications. Films made from HFI 5110 are easy to treat and print, allowing for sharp, detailed graphics. The material is produced under license from Basell.
Recommended Use:
HFI 5110 is designed for blown film extrusion. It is especially suited for manufacturing strong thin films for packaging purposes, including grocery sacks and shopping bags. The resulting films are easily printable and compatible with surface treatments for enhanced graphic quality.
