EX3 High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a high-performance resin specifically designed for the extrusion of a wide range of pipe and fitting sizes. Suitable for pressure pipes, drinking water and gas pipelines, sewer and discharge systems, as well as injection-molded fittings and sheets, EX3 delivers reliable performance in demanding applications.
With a density of approximately 0.942–0.946 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate (MFR) of 0.40–0.70 g/10 min (at 190°C/5kg), EX3 ensures consistent extrusion quality and dimensional stability. Key performance features include outstanding environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR), robust impact strength for mechanical durability, and excellent long-term hydrostatic resistance.
EX3 polyethylene pipes are ideal for a range of applications, including
- Water Supply Systems: Safe, clean, and reliable distribution of drinking water.
- Gas Distribution Networks: Ensures safe transportation of natural gas and other gaseous substances.
- Industrial Piping Systems: Suitable for a variety of industries that require a durable, corrosion-resistant solution.
- Agricultural Irrigation: With their flexibility and resistance to UV degradation, EX3 pipes are well-suited for irrigation and water management systems.
- Mining and Oil & Gas: Used for pipelines that operate in extreme environments where strength and reliability are essential
